Automotive Electronics Design and Development
Autron was established in 1989 and has become One of Australia's leading designers and manufacturers of cruise controls and automotive security devices. We also are involved in design & manufacturing of special purpose electronics modules to meet our customers requirements. The principals of Autron have a combined experience of over 35 years in automotive electronics design.
Our Engineering Director was employed for 8 years by a leading Multi-National Automotive Electronics Original Equipment Manufacturer & our Automotive Security Specialist spent 9 years prior to joining Autron in both Original Equipment Manufacturer product support & product development roles with Australia's largest Aftermarket security company of the 80's.
In the years since Autron was formed, we have been involved in numerous design projects for both automotive (climate control systems and ratio conversion Speedo interfaces as examples) and industrial customers (Solar powered motor controller systems and laser cutting equipment interfaces as examples) and through our installation division have held major contracts.
Some of our most recent customers have included DaimlerChrysler Australia/Pacific Pty Ltd (Parts and Accessory Cruise Control for Vito and Sprinter CDI Diesel Vehicles), Holden Special Vehicles (Security System and accessories to there SatNav System) and most recently the O.E. intergration of SmarTire's Tyre pressure monitoring as standard on GTS Sedan and Coupe, Holden Ltd (Parts and Accessory Cruise Control for Rodeo V6 and Diesel and Jackaroo Turbo Diesel), Mono Pumps Dresser, Air International, Suntron Power Products & Pioneer Car Audio.
Autron offers its customers a complete service from the design of a new product to full production.
Autron currently has the range of AUSCRUISE Cruise Controls for the Professional installer as well as developing O.E.M style cruise controls which are vehicle specific.
